As a high school senior, I have a lot of life choices that are coming at the same time. I need to figure out if I am going to continue school, where I am going to go, what I am going to do and how I am going to make all of this happen. These are not simple choices. These are life choices that will really have a huge impact on the rest of my life.
Continuing My Education
I have already made the decision that I am going to continue my education by going to college. This means that I need to try and figure out what I am going to study. There are quite a few great choices out there.
My first choice is a behavioral analysis degree. This degree will open up many doors, and many excellent career paths as well. I am somewhat of a natural when it comes to analyzing things. I have always been extremely analytical, and I have always wondered how things work. I have also always wondered why people behave the way they do. This degree just seems to make more sense to me.
This degree can also be a stepping stone for a higher level degree. I could go for my masters degree in criminal justice, and further my career in the same field. I have always been interested in the criminal justice system, and how it works. There are plenty of flaws within the system, and I might be able to fix these flaws if I could land the right position within this industry. I can also end up working as a high class FBI agent if I wanted to. The future is bright if I obtain both, or either one of these degrees separately.
There is a third degree that I have in mind as well. It falls under some of the same characteristics as the other two degrees that I am interested in. I like the idea of working for my country, and I like the idea of working to make it a better place. An online homeland security degree would allow me to do this. I can add this degree to one of the other two on my list and open an entire world of possibilities. The future looks bright, but only if I take full advantage of all of these excellent opportunities. In order to get a good job in any of these fields, I will have to earn a degree. This means that I am going to need to dedicate some time to get the proper education.
