Maryland Politics Today is a one-man operation. It was started as a personal, online notebook of all that is political in Maryland. I wanted to learn what was happening outside of Central Maryland and the Capital Region.

The overall goal is to report the straight political story.  From time to time I will insert the comment. But for the most part stories will be given straight forward with proper attribution when necessary. The stories selected on this sight are not only major stories, but they are also stories that you might not know about in other parts of the state.

You also might notice that there are minor lapses. There are two reasons behind this. First, I do have a paying day job, and depending on the schedule, I might not be able to work on this blog when I get home. The second reason is that there were no interesting developments to report on.
