Dougherty to run for re-election

Fresh from running a congressional election against incumbent Roscoe Bartlett (R-Dist. 6), Jennifer Dougherty wants her old job back.  Dougherty (D) was Mayor of Frederick from 2001-2005.  WJLA-TV (Channel 7) reporting that she has only one challenger in the democratic primary set for this fall.  Dougherty said that she will be more fiscally responsible than incumbent Mayor Jeff Holtzinger (R).
