Burns says most Democrats are against same sex marriage

The Burns I am referring to is not me, but Baltimore County Del. Emmett Burns Jr. (D-Dist. 10) who is sponsoring House Bill 90 which would keep Maryland from recognizing same sex marriage performed anywhere, including next door in the District of Columbia. I talked to Burns (no relation) this afternoon for a report that I was filing for WNAV (1430AM) who gave me a surprising response when I asked him about how most in his party are normally for same sex marriage. Hear his response on the audio player below. As you know, same sex Marriage is illegal in Maryland, as affirmed not too long ago by the court of appeals.

I’m glad to see that Emmett Burns has his moral values still intact, but I have to state the fact that democrats are widely viewed as supporting “gay marriage”. In fact, President Obama has promised to repeal DOMA and legalize “gay marriage from sea to shining sea:
