Drink Up! It’s still cheap…

Well, you would think that the Governor Martin O’Malley (D) and the Democratic-led General Assembly was pushing to tax everything under the sun based on last month’s General Assembly.  They didn’t even look at the beer and wine tax, which has not gone up since 1972, or the liquor tax, which has not gone up since 1955!

The Baltimore Sun says that our booze taxes are among the lowest in the nation.   Not much to expect from the state where Natty-Bo Beer and Colt 45 was once made…BOTTOMS UP!
