Prince George’s County: Town Hall Meeting in D1

If you live in Prince George’s County Councilman District One, and you have free time on Monday, March 31 at 7:00p (and unlike me, you don’t have to work that night), Councilman Tom Dernoga (D-Dist. 1) is calling for a town hall meeting.

Up for discussion is the 2009 Budget, Zoning Enforcement and Traffic Issues.  They will also discuss Property Standards & Development Issues.

The postcard which I saw in the mail today said that representatives from the County Police, School Board and other agencies will be present.

Also, you’ll have a chance to meet Major Dwayne Preston, the new Police Commander for North County and talk about crime concerns.
