The third and final debate was held between Baltimore/Harford Senator Andy Harris (R), Queen Anne’s County State’s Attorney Frank Kratovil (D) and Richard Davis (L). The Associated Press said, in short, that they disagreed about the economy and the war. The debate was held at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills.

Last night at the Chizuk Amuno Congregation in Pikesville, a debate and discussion was held on the 2008 Presidential contest between Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) and Sen. John McCain (D-AZ). Representing Sen. McCain was former Governor Robert Ehrlich (R) and representing Sen. Obama was U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D).
The forum was presentred by the Chizuk Amuno Congregation along with the Baltimore Jewish Council, The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore and The Israel Project.
Among the topics discussed was the separation of church and state, middle east peace, health care reform, Iran, social security, where the U.S. Embassy in Israel should be and, of course, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Look for my impressions of this forum on PolitickerMD.com real soon. Also special thanks to fellow Maryland Blogger Alliance member Soccer Dad for passing along the tip for this event…and for taking a picture of me with Governor Ehrlich last night.

Today at high noon on WYPR (88.1FM), you will head six of the candidates square off in a forum recorded last night at the Enoch Pratt Library on Cathedral Street for today’s edition of The Marc Steiner Show.
The Baltimore Sun says that it was standing room only as Mayor Sheila Dixon, City Councilman Kieffer Mitchell, Andrey Bundley, Robert Kaufman and Del. Jill Carter discuss the issues going into the final two weeks of campaigning.
The line of the night came from Central Maryland’s “favorite” socialist, Kaufman, who believed that Mitchell and Dixon either had their hands in the pockets of the big insurance companies…or that they were “unbelievably stupid.”
